1 German Chocolate cake mix2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
1 bag (40-50) caramels
Melt caramels and 1/3 cup of the milk. Mix cake mix, butter, 1/3 cup of the milk. Spread half of the mixture in a greased 9 x 13 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Remove, sprinkle chocolate chips over the top, pour caramel over the top. Pat the rest of the cake mixture on top (drop spoonfuls and spread, some of the caramel may show through). Bake at 350 degrees for 15-18 minutes.
