Short Bread Pecan Bars

Cream together:
1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp cornstarch

Press above on a large cookie sheet (jelly roll pan). Mixture will be crumbly until pressed down into the pan. Cook at 250 degrees for 15-18 minutes. Cook until firm, not brown.

Beat 4 eggs and add:
2 cups brown sugar
4 Tbsp flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup pecans, chopped
7 ounces coconut

Mix together and pour over crust. Bake at 300 degrees For 15 minutes, then at 350 degrees for 5 minutes. Let cool. Frost with cream cheese frosting and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
